LocheeSoft started off life as Lochee Publications Ltd, a Dundee-based independent publisher of academic and local history titles. When the company ceased operations and the directors went their separate ways, it continued as LocheeSoft, with the object of producing modern language computer software for the education market.

After a period of inactivity, LocheeSoft has now emerged again with a mix of eBooks and educational software. Future eBooks are planned and software programs are under development.
